Customer Counting
Sales are the lifeblood of retailing ...
There are only two ways to increase sales - by attracting more customers & / or increasing the average sales per customer & the only way to increase sales per customer is by increasing conversion rate or average transaction value.
If the number of customers visiting retail premises is not quantified, it is impossible to know if customer visits or spend per customer visit are increasing, what the potential is to increase conversion rate or what needs to be done to achieve this. Customer counts are therefore a fundamental requirement of all successful sales improvement initiatives.
Similar circumstances apply to rentals. Access to customers has a direct bearing on the value & therefore the rental of premises. If customers volumes are not know, it is impossible to objectively determine the comparative value of different premises.
