Direct Marketing

We have a web & permission based direct marketing system that consists of three components:
  • Web or PDA collection of customer contact details, information that customers are interested in receiving & how often they wish to receive it. This same component also allows customers to update their information or information needs when required.
  • A relational database to store customer data.
  • A mailing program (e-mail & / or SMS) that allows (but does not compel) users to filter a mailing list so that the each mailing is sent only to those customers who are interested in receiving it.
This direct marketing program is permission based (but can also be used for mass mailings) so it only provides customers with information that they have indicated they want to receive. It therefore cuts through the clutter of more traditional direct mail advertising & changes the mail from spam to desired & anticipated communication. Most importantly, it provides a measure of the readership of the communications that are distributed.
