Retailer Services: Direct, permission-based marketing
Our e-mail & SMS permission based direct marketing system consists of three components:
- Web or PDA collection of customer contact details, information customers are interested in receiving & how often they wish to receive it. These same components also allow customers to update their information needs when required;
- A relational database in which to store customer data;
- A mailing program (e-mail & / or SMS) that allows (but does not compel) users to filter a mailing list so that the each mailing is sent only to those customers who are interested in receiving it.
This direct marketing program is permission based (but can also be used for mass mailings) so it only provides customers with information that they have indicated they want to receive, thereby changing mailings from spam to desired & anticipated communication. Importantly, it also provides a measure of the readership of the e-mail communications that are distributed.
